Fyg has now re-opened as Wood.
Fyg is a Northern Quarter deli and wine bar that's now under the burgeoning umbrella of House of Adventure, the folks behind such cool Manchester bars as Simple Bar & Kitchen (next door!) and Cord. An intimate bar, with a cosy rustic atmosphere, Fyg is a relaxed setting in which to enjoy wine, cheese and charcuterie in Manchester's coolest quarter.
The Tib Street bar draws a laid back, yet discerning crowd, a popular spot for weekend tipples and after work meet-ups. Under its new owners, the bar will focus on hearty breakfasts, tasty evening suppers and informal live music and is set to go under a little makeover of not just the decor but the menu and the opening hours over the coming months.
Quirky, homely and with something of a refined palate, Fyg Deli & Wine bar promises something a little different from other venues in the area. We can't wait to see what's in store for the wine bar as its dynamic owners settle into their new home.
