Description
Named after legendary Parisian party queen, Kiki de Montparnasse, the new Deangate bar is pitching itself as an industry hangout, for those working in media, fashion, PR and entertainment.
Aiming to be "A grown-up club for those who grew up clubbing", Kiki's is hoping to lure those who recall a time when The Hacienda was their regular haunt, with an old school selection of sounds from funk, soul and disco to R'n'B and house. Live entertainment will come in the form of modern cabaret, with some of the finest musicians. While the new bar will open officially in January 2014, a pop-up opening in late November will offer memberships to lucky punters who attend the opening events. Set to be a lively venue, offering something a little different for Manchester clubbers who hark back to the days of yore.
