Almost Famous NQ

Description

Almost Famous in Manchester's Northern Quarter does burgers to die for, fiery chilli dogs, bbq smoked wings, and jam-jar cocktails all in a hush hush secret location with a doff of the cap to the grand old USA. It's a perfect haven for meat lovers who like their burger crafted to perfection, very much American style, in a lively bass-pumping bar and restaurant, just remember to wear loose clothing!

Once you find the door with no name, and descend the stairs you are welcomed by a stunning bar with a cathedral-like backdrop of spirit bottles and fairy lights. You can chill out at the bar, work your way through the craft beers and cocktails and kick-on later to party bangers to work off those ridiculously good burgers.

The burger lovers are housed in two restaurant-vibed rooms, seperate to the bar, which once seated in has very much like a house party feel. The food menu is simple yet extremely exciting. There are a few burger choices, the chilli dog and wings. The Suicide burger comes highly recommended, as do the Trailer Trash fries, with fried cameralised onion and mustard sauce dumped on top. The music is loud, the crowd is young but everyone leaves knowing they wont be almost famous for long.

Almost Famous Manchester - Restaurant Bar Review

Manchester has been going wild over this no frills burger joint tucked away somewhere secret in the Northern Quarter. Behind a large brown wooden door next to Keko Moku lies Almost Famous; guarded by a fierce lady with a clipboard barking orders on a microphone and a bouncer you’d be forgiven you…
