Jimmy's, opened by One Night Only frontman George Craig and his bandmate Jimmy, fuses quality drinks and live music in a cool but welcoming atmosphere. Open from 8.30am, the bar serves Tim Peaks coffee in the morning to high quality cocktails, wine and lager - including their signature beer, Jimmy's Lager - all the way through the evening. Or enjoy a bar snack of sausage rolls, scotch eggs and pork pies while you hang out in Manchester's new music hotspot.

Fusing old-school rock 'n' roll design with modern expectations of quality, it's easy to get behind a bar as effortlessly cool as Jimmy's. The bar serves a selection of affordable drinks, with their cocktail list featuring classic but well-honed additions. But the bar's biggest pull is it's musical appeal: George and Jimmy Craig, musicians themselves, aim to get some heavy hitters to play secret gigs and host after-parties at the bar. Surrounded by rock and roll memorabilia and murals, the interior oozes a historical, musical significance that it has yet to earn - but hopefully will, very soon.
