What they say:

Inspired by director Mark Whyte's travels to the Far East, Lost in Tokyo is the Northern Quarter's first Japanese-themed bar. Naturally, the interior here is reminiscent of these travels, with long hanging lanterns and fluorescent lighting. The same goes for the bar, which serves up an assortment of Japanese beers, whiskies and sake. Open until 3am on the weekend, Lost in Tokyo is a great place to start and end your night.

What we say:

Fancy a trip to the Far East's most exciting city? Well, we can't exactly help you with that... but we've found the next best thing, trust us! Step forward, Lost in Tokyo. Inspired by Japanese travels, this basement bar boasts a breathtaking interior - step inside to discover Yatai cart-styled bars, Street Fighter-inspired murals and hanging lanterns. Oh, and the booze on offer here is equally impressive. Lost in Tokyo serves the very best Japanese beers, the finest whiskies, and plenty of sake. On top of that, there's a long list of quirky cocktails that come served up in all sorts of delightful little vessels - think rice bowls with straws! Is this Japanese bar gonna go down a treat with Mancunians? We really think so.
