What they say:
Setting up shop on Stevenson Square in the heart of the Northern Quarter is the latest venture from Kosmonaut kids of cool, PLY. Set to boast 5,500 square feet of space for socialising, supping and working alike, this multi-purpose venue heads to the Northern Quarter this Summer as a space 'completely distinct' from other NQ offerings according to Director, Joe Fearnhead. A flexible bar for those looking to drink, dine and laze alike, PLY will be unique.
What we say:
You'd think that Kosmonaut were all too busy being our 'Best Bar' of 2014, but no, they had to go ahead and wrangle themselves a plush new Northern Quarter plot. Already being the top notch purveyors of cool that they are, we don't doubt that PLY will follow the same NQ suit with a hearty young crowd and cool interiors. Our bet? Plywood happens to be one core interior ingredients. Barmy, we know. Whilst we'd love to ply (geddit) you with details, there's set to be more to uncover as the bar undergoes to development, so be sure to keep checking back in for further updates.
