What they say:
Located above Hula Tiki Lounge on Stevenson Square, Rosylee Tea Rooms is a tea room and cocktail bar that combines Edwardian decadence with a modern twist to create a unique new space for socialising in the Northern Quarter. Rosylee combines cool urban decor with the glamour of yesteryear to offer a grown up and forward thinking take on the traditional tea room. Owners say "think Downton Abbey meets The Sopranos". We'd sure love to see that programme. Can somebody hurry up and make it? With a tempting range of literary inspired iced tea cocktails, live piano music and proposed black and white film screenings, Rosylee offers a slice of quaint, period charm in the heart of the bustling, urban Northern Quarter.
What we say:
Rosylee Tea Rooms sounds right up our street. Literally - the DMN office is just around the corner. So with that in mind we're sure we'll be making full use of this glamorous new venue for lunch, after work drinks and more. There are plenty of bars, pubs and cafes in the Northern Quarter already, but Rosylee looks set to offer something a little different with its sophisticated afternoon tea angle.
