What they say:
Now open inside The Midland Hotel, Mr Cooper's House and Garden is an exciting new destination bar and restaurant for Manchester. Named after popular fresh food supplier Mr Cooper, whose house and garden sat on the site back in the early 19th century, the 150 cover restaurant and 50 cover bar has chef Simon Rogan at the helm, creating a varied and informal dining alternative to The Midland's swanky fine dining restaurant; The French.
From the garden dining room with its cascading wall of plants, 30ft tree and gazebo, to the 50 cover library bar with its opulent booths and semi private 'study', Mr Cooper's House and Garden offers a multitude of different dining experiences under one roof and a magical setting for lunch, dinner or exciting botanical cocktails in Manchester city centre.
What we say:
Mr Coopers House and Garden looks all set to be a quirky spot for a drink and a bite to eat, and will no doubt make a great addition to the burgeoning bar and restaurant scene at this end of town. We're expecting big things from the bar's cocktail offering, and we can't wait to get down there and try out Simon Rogan's exciting culinary creations.
