What they say:
Their first Northern venture when it comes to the Caribbean brand, Turtle Bay takes to the 8000ft that was once The Alibi, transforming it into a dapper and colourful den of delectable, tropical cocktails and exotic chow this May in Manchester. With a £1 million investment on their side, Turtle Bay's street food shack interiors will boast a restaurant for up to 250 diners and a veranda style drinking terrace in the heart of the building, all set to serve guests their selection of spice laden dishes and over 30 different types of rum.
What we say:
Rumour has it that people are losing faith in Oxford Street, and that people are losing faith in chain bars altogether, but we think that Manchester may be right about ready to put a little trust in things a little farther flung; we're talking across the ocean. Boasting so diverse a selection of cultures, Manchester will have no trouble welcoming in a brand like Turtle Bay; Especially when guests can guzzle a selection of top notch tropical cocktails, a selection of over 30 different rums and some of the most classic Caribbean chow in the business.
