There's a handful of folk getting to grips with their laundrette chores, depositing shrapnel into machines and flicking through lifestyle mags as they wait. But this is no everyday laundrette setting. Follow your intrigue and step through that door in the corner; for a world of prohibition drinking is much closer than you'd think.
There's something very Narnia-like about this elusive cocktail bar. Accessed only after you literally step through the washing machine, you'll meet a dimly lit, leather-clad watering hole serving suitably refined cocktails and a dirty house playlist to Manchester's in-the-know crowd. To say much more would take away the fun, just be prepared for a bit of a battle getting in; it's table bookings only and you'll need to track down their phone number to get it organised.
