The Great Northern Warehouse which hosts Manchester235 has a new addition that's come up to Manchester from it's birthplace in London, All Star Lanes. With bars such as Epernay and Taps nearby this area of Deansgate is great for anyone looking for a quality night out with a twist. All Star Lanes are certainly stamping their distinct retro glamour look onto the Manchester nightlife scene with their highly anticipated new opening, so we decided to see what all the hype was about.
With retro decor, bowling and cocktails, All Star Lanes Manchester looks set to a massive hit
The All Star Lanes Manchester launch party was suitably glamorous for an opening of this size and importance; the staff looking like they had just stepped from a time machine with their pin-up hairstyles and sharp outfits, all adding to the atmosphere alongside brilliantly nifty 1950’s decor. The drinks menu was utterly huge, including a killer list of cocktails and over 120 whiskey choices, setting a pretty high standard for their surrounding neighbours! I was also very pleased to see Manchester favourite (and a personal favourite) ‘The Zombie’ on the list. Clearly labelled as a two drink only option certainly stamped All Stars credentials as a new party bar.
With the legendary Norman Jay spinning hits all night long the party really got started in style. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive, which we think is a big sign of things to come. Big shout out to the guys working in the dining area who were great handing out yummy tasters from the menu – I’ll definitely be back with all my friends!
