If you're one of these disorganised souls who still hasn't sorted your Christmas presents yet. Listen up. Almost Famous are selling some super awesome, super limited edition silkscreen prints today, and the burger buff in your life needs to own one.
It's been something of a tumultuous year for the beloved Manchester burger bar. Back in June, the massively popular Northern Quarter restarant went up in flames. Fans of the bar from Manchester, and beyond, were devastated. And while the burgers continued to churn out from sister venue, Luck, Lust, Liquor and Burn, the reopening of Almost Famous was hotly anticipated, and our patience was rewarded earlier this month, when the bar reopened in it's snazzy new warehouse home in Deansgate.
Now that Almost Famous is back on its feet, and seeing as it's the season of good will and all that, the bar want to thank everyone who helped them, from those who offered jobs to their staff, to pop-up propositions to keep the patties pumping. They also want to give back to the people who did their best to save the restaurant, the Fire Service.
So, they've teamed up with their NQ neighbours at the Richard Goodall Gallery, and recruited a bunch of Manchester's most talented artists, to give their own creative spin on the Almost Famous experience. The results are a bunch of beautiful, fun, and freakin' cool silkscreen prints and they're on sale at the gallery and in the new Almost Famous Deansgate, from today. The prints are highly limited edition, cost £30, and £5 from each one going to the Fire Fighters Charity.
A nifty gifty for an Almost Famous advocate, or perhaps an artistic invite to share a burger soon. Or heck, why not treat yourself to a slice of Manchester's most beloved burger bar in your very own home? Nom.
