Only two months on the scene, and already boasting a vast amass of artistic artisans and party people, news came in this week that brand new Ancoats venue Underland will have to close its doors to the cosmopolitan and creative crowd. A space where industrial innards and factory floors held place to events, art exhibitions and up-beat club nights, Underland will be shutting their Ancoats party shop due to unforeseen circumstances and saying goodbye to the cool cavern that their MCR team has produced. However...
Owners Vince Vega and Simon Bullows seem not the men to be bogged down by such a barrage of bad news. Retaining that is not the end for the fresh Underland face, Vince and Simon also announced news that they had secured a city centre plot. Nabbing a 750 strong space with a 6am license, 7 days a week, Underland will return to Manchester with a mark, also boasting 8 new studios and a free exhibition space for arts contributors. Way to make a come-back, eh?
Keep an eye for more news on the upcoming Underland as these creative chaps appear to waste no time in plotting their return.
