Shorter days, darker nights and colder temperatures? The thought of it might be enough to send shivers down our spines, but that hasn't stopped Manchester's most popular winter pop-up from announcing its comeback.
Back for another year, Bar Hütte is returning to Great Northern Square with cosy vines and rustic decor... you can't stop this tinsel-topped favourite from spreading its yearly yuletide cheer.
Occupying a prime position from the 15th of November, the alpine retreat will be home to 15 outdoor huts - the perfect choice for date nights or catch-ups with mates. In keeping with the après ski theme, each hut is decorated as a cosy ski chalet; think festive lights, snug heat lamps and a karaoke machine. Alexa, play Last Christmas. Also in store are wreath-making classes and Bark Hütte; the cutest doggy grotto where your pup will be spoiled with pawsecco and complimentary treats.
As for the menu, there's freshly baked pizza and bombardino cocktails - filled with hot rum and eggnog - to keep you toasty. If that's not enough, VIP party lodges are available with magnums of prosecco and large areas for parties of up to 20 people.
Plus, it's double the festivities again this year, as the seasonal pop-up also lands in its second location at Kampus. Here you'll find eight more snug karaoke hüttes and an indoor après ski bungalow, as well as pizza from their neighbours at Nell's.
