Manchester's premiere Italian food and drink festival is returning to Cathedral Gardens for three days this July to showcase the best food, drinks and entertainment that the city's Italian community has to offer. Following a successful debut last year, which saw over 26,000 people attend the event, this year organisers have chosen to pull focus to education around Italian food and culture.
Alongside a huge range of food and drink outlets, live music and activities, there will be a number of hands-on masterclasses and even a "Bambina Cucina", which will give kids a food festival all of their own to enjoy. Festival organisers will also be selling tickets for banquet events where guests can get involved with unique Italian dining experiences.
Festa Italiana takes place from the 13th - 15th of July at Cathedral Gardens, Corporation Street, Manchester M4 3BG. Entrance to the Festival Piazza is free, while other events and activities will be taking place at venues across Manchester.
