Having opened successful restaurants in Nottingham, Leeds and Liverpool, modern British restaurant brand George's Great British Kitchen have set their sights on Manchester. Alongside the dining area, plans are afoot for the restaurant to include a gin bar serving a selection of premium British gins.
Serving up contemporary takes on traditional British meals, George's has proved a popular dining destination since it launched its first venue in Nottingham in 2015. Their menus feature dishes such as paprika-battered haddock and onion bhaji-battered cod, as well as pies, steaks and range of exciting and innovative desserts and cocktails.
The restaurant, which is intended to open near Deansgate on the corner of John Dalton Street and Bow Street, will retain the same character as its sister venues, evoking the feel of fish and chip shop with a difference. The decor is expected to look similar to that of the Liverpool branch, with booths designed to look like beach huts.
