A few weeks ago I headed to Manchester 235 to learn how to play blackjack. Since then I’ve been back to the Casino a few times for a late drink or a flutter on the tables so I was pretty excited to find out yet another reason to head down.
Celebrity chef James Martin is launching his new menu in the 120 seater restaurant formerly known as Linen, serving up locally sourced British cuisine to our great city. With the restaurant being set away from the casino floor past the newly refurbished Vega Lounge, you’d be forgiven for forgetting about the gaming going on the floor and instead enjoying the relaxed yet formal atmosphere in the dining room.
Smack bang in Manchester City centre it’s looking like a great addition to the city’s thriving foodie scene especially as its launching during this year’s Food and Drink Festival. Somewhere to get dressed up and perhaps get a glimpse of the man himself, James Martin's restaurant looks like the perfect way to treat yourself to something a little special. And I’d recommend combining your meal with one of the Casino’s many different learn to play packages.
