What’s the best thing about living in Manchester?
The friendliness, and the great mix of different cultures. Great curries on the curry mile, West Indian food around The Moss, Italians in the centre, China Town, and the Irish in County Levenshulme. A lot of people who come here for work or study never leave, so it must be good! Sports too - we've got the best two football teams in the UK and great boxers. And then there's the music of course - great music has always has and is still coming out of Manchester. Happy Mondays, The Roses, The Last Party, Broken English... I could go on forever.
Favourite bar in Manchester:
Mulligans. Great pint of Guinness and also good Irish bands on in there.
Favourite pub in Manchester:
The Sea Hawk is just out of town, but again great music in there four nights a week.
Favourite club or club night in Manchester:
I used to go to Sankeys a lot when I used to rave, but my clubbing days are over.
