It's been a while but Manchester Hero is back. And we couldn't have picked a finer Mancunian to kick off 2014 than Yogi, DJ and green tea advocate Matt Ryan.
Matt Ryan used to be a DJ – and not just anywhere, he graced the decks regularly at the Hacienda and the now defunct Home nightclub as well as venues across the UK. He was recommended to try yoga, and within three months, he’d hung up his headphones and booked his flight to India.
Since then he’s taught Mani from the Stone Roses as well as a few premiership footballers and he now runs Yoga Express in the NQ, aimed to help you feel mentally and physically refreshed. And after a night out in one of our favourite parts of town, this looks like it may be the perfect cure!
