Ping Pong Fight Club is calling all Mancunians to show off your ping-pong skills and become a virtual champion. Taking place at Manchester's Gorilla Space on the 26th September for the first time, the event will allow you to compete in the VR world and take on a ping-pong robot in the 'Pongbot' challenge.
There's also the option to grab your mates and enter as a team of four, battling it out against other 'gang members' to win bragging rights as the city's top ping-pong players, plus there's a trophy and a new ping-pong table in it for you. The event will host pop-up bars, face painting (so you can get you warpaint sorted), street food and an energetic soundtrack from Ping Pong Fight Club DJs to get you all riled up.
Tickets are £10 and include a free Tsingtao beer on entry. To get involved as a team it's £37.50 per player (£150 overall), with everything kicking off at Gorilla, Whitworth Street, M1 5WW on the 26th September 5pm - 11pm.
