Grab your Tamagotchi, whack on the Spice Girls, and dust off those legwarmers... the city's newest pop-up is going to make all your old skool dreams come true. Get ready to meet Pong & Puck.
Located in between Peter Street and Deansgate, right in the middle of Manchester's bustling nightlife, the spring newbie is here to bring you pure, unadulterated joy. There are gaming tables housing everything from shuffleboard to table tennis, while tunes from the 80s, 90s and 00s ramp up the party vibes. Honing in on the cocktail bar’s playful spirit, graffiti artwork and neon signs adorn the walls inside, and the heated outdoor terrace will be ideal for springtime sipping (if the weather behaves itself).
As for the drinks? Let’s just say the standard has been set very high, so prepare for gigantic beer towers and gorgeous retro-inspired cocktails. Your Instagram feed can thank us later. There are also dedicated areas to hire for rounds of beer and prosecco pong, plus private pods for the ultimate birthday blowout.
But, remember not to puck around, as this pop-up won’t be here for long.
You can find Pong & Puck at Great Northern Warehouse, Manchester, M3 4EN. Don’t miss a beat with Manchester’s weekly newsletter here.
