Big news for the Manchester clubbing scene this week is that Revolver, one of the biggest club nights in Manchester, is moving house. Billed as "Manchester’s premier, and longest running, 60s extravaganza"; Revolver have decided to move from their home at The Deaf Institute on Grosvenor Street to The Function Room at Odder Bar, another key player in the Oxford Road club scene.
Since it's inception in 2004, Revolver has gone from strength to strength, outlasting other club nights in Manchester and also boasting sold out shows in Leeds, Liverpool and London. But now The Function Room is proud to announce that twice a month (1st Friday and 3rd Saturday) Revolver will be packing out this cool Oxford Road club spot.
The signature Function Room, signage, a sign of thing to come for this great Manchester club night.
Revolver has always been a hotbed of stomping retro sounds for lovers of 60s Pop, Garage, Motown, Rock 'n' Roll and Ska, so The Function Room has a hit on its hands from day one. It’s rabidly loyal following are now no longer surprised to be rubbing shoulder with luminaries such as… Carl Barat, Liam Fray, Kings Of Leon, The Kooks, Ricky Hatton, James Dean Bradfield, Agnes Dean… and McFly. So with all this to look forward to, make sure you follow Revolver to its new home on Oxford Road, and here's to 9 more years of Revolver!
