What do Malibu, Mumbai, Mayfair and, now, Manchester have in common? They're all home to Soho House, a swish members' club known for its superb restaurants, unrivalled entertainment and swanky bars. Tipped to launch towards the end of the year just west of Spinningfields, this exclusive spot's finer details have been revealed by owner Nick Jones.
Expect the five-floor luxurious plot to replicate the selling points of its other venues, including those in Brighton and Shoreditch; think opulent interiors, a beautiful outdoor terrace space, a vibrant club and hot live music venue. With 80% of memberships being reserved for locals, it's no surprise that the lineup of events is set to focus on Mancunian favourites and music. And, just in case that that wasn't enough, a rooftop pool and bar boasting city skyline views is the crowning glory of Soho House Manchester.
To refuel before or after all this fun? Cecconi’s, the in-house Italian eatery frequented by the likes of Gwen Stefani, Tom Hanks and Kate Moss at other global locations, will serve plenty of mouthwatering fare. Meanwhile, Mollie's diner is throwing open its doors on the ground floor and whipping up American-inspired grub, from breakfast eggs through to burgers, ribs and rotisserie for dinner.
Soho House Manchester will be opening to members at Old Grenada Studios, Quay Street, Manchester, M3 3GS before the end of 2022. Check out more of the city's rooftop bars here.
