Allied London the property developer behind the cities increasingly popular Spinningfields area have finally issued an official request for planning permission for one of the final stages of the original planned development. Quay House is the worn and sorry looking building around Hardman Square, directly behind the 'Screenfields' screen on the Lawns. That will be knocked down and rebuilt into a multi-million pound office block, with facilities for local amenities on the ground floor in retail, bars and restaurants and will also house a 19th floor skyline restaurant. The restaurant will house a glass enclosed roof terrace and is set to be a top contender for fine dining and mixology in the city, a diamond in the Spinningfields Crown. Another epic improvement for one of the thriving areas of the city, bringing another high quality, top shelf establishment in the 19th floor skyline restaurant. Planning permission is set to be decided in April 2014 so stay tuned for more details!
