The Gramotones will be playing a free gig at MCR Coffee Company this Friday
Our friends at the MCR Coffee Company have been in touch with news of a top gig with two top Manchester bands, and it's free this Friday in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
Manchester Indie group The Gramotones will be playing with support from Wax Collective on Friday 21st June from 7pm until 9pm at the MCR Coffee Company on Oldham Street. Both bands are fresh off the back of a very successful Isle of Wight festival playing the Curated by Tim Burgess stage 'Intoxicated Tearooms', where both bands were given the opportunity to take a bite of the sweet festival apple, something were sure they will be chomping at the bit to do again, and fast. Building a loyal group of followers and showcasing their talents across the UK and Manchester, both bands will be looking forward to plugging in once more and delivering a double espresso strength shot of indie rock and roll.
The music doesn't stop there though; prepare yourself for a night of rare soul, gritty rhythm and blues and motown until the sun begins to rise at Night and Day cafe, minutes down the road from MCR Coffee Company. The after party known as the Howling Rhythm Soul Club promises to be a night not to be missed, especially after two hours of top notch live music from two bands with big things ahead.
