What is Therme Manchester?
This impressive site is set to be a unique wellbeing experience, offering a 33-degree climate all-year round. This is made possible by their sustainable glass infrastructure and warm water lagoons, which will be surrounded by palm trees and botanical gardens containing hundreds of species of plants.
They'll be combining he ancient practice of healing thermal water with multi-sensory sauna experiences, an urban beach, steam rooms and a luxury but affordable spa. There'll also be water slides and a wave pool on-site, alongside various health and fitness therapies. You can expect be some outdoor spaces too, including more pools and a rooftop terrace.
Predicted to attract two million visitors a year, both adults and children, this is set to be the most visited water-based attraction in the whole of Europe. You'll even be able to enjoy a range of top quality food and drink in the building, focusing on healthy choices, making it easy to spend an entire day here.
When is the Therme Manchester opening date?
This site has been in the works since 2023, when they were given planning permission by Trafford Council. The original opening date was set for late 2025, but due to delays, it's now expected to take at least two more years, pushing the anticipated launch back to 2027.
