Now that the festive season is done and you can actually feel the collective poison in everyone's bodies, it’s time to start thinking about cleaner eating in 2018. Luckily, there's a massive vegan festival coming to Manchester this spring, like a beacon of hope shining through the meat-filled blur of Christmas. Meet Vegan Life Live festival: three days of meat-free food, fashion and fun.
Dozens of exhibitors will be descending into Event City for the all-day extravaganza starting on Friday 20th April, with everything from cruelty-free cooking demonstrations to food stalls packed to the rafters with cakes, pizzas, cheese, and beer. Expect to find big names like Candy Kittens, Forget the Eggs, Hogan’s Cider and Vita Coco. The event, organised by Vegan Life magazine, isn’t just about the food, with charities, activists, and leading vegan figures giving workshops and lectures so that you can become as powerful a vegan as Todd Ingram from Scott Pilgrim Vs the World. If you need one more zen reason to attend this animal-loving celebration, all ticket holders will get free entry to the OM Yoga Show and Mind Body Soul Experience taking place at the weekend. That's definitely one way to unleash the inner-goodness.
Vegan Life Live will be at Event City from Friday 20th April to Sunday 22nd April, with tickets costing from £6 to £16.
