There's nothing quite like curling up on your sofa and popping a Christmas movie on; or so we thought. The Village Screen is back for December 2017 making festive traditions all the more magical as Victoria Baths are transformed with their pop-up cinema. Screening five family favourites, the cinema could be a contender for the prettiest spot in Manchester, with deckchair seats, coloured lighting and the historic setting of the baths. Christmas trees will line the sides of the pool, and there will be a DJ playing all sorts of jingles. Skip the pop-corn and head to one of the street-food traders which include the likes of The Blue Caribou Canteen, Mac Daddies and Dim Sum Su. From Love Actually and Elf to Home Alone and Frozen, all that's left to decide is how many brilliant films you'll be watching.
The Village Screen will be at Victoria Baths, Hathersage Road, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester, M13 OFE, on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December. Tickets start from £13.20.
