I think we can all agree that dogs are the best thing to ever happen to the universe. These fluffy, adorable rays of light are so cute that the inevitable destruction of the Earth by an exploding sun seems as worrisome as a Supermarket Sweep re-run. But when you go out, what are you supposed to do? Leave them at home? On their own? No, you find events like this adorable brunch dedicated to the dachshund.
That’s right, Yard & Coop have invited everyone’s favourite, ridiculous-looking dog round for a bite to eat on Sunday 8th July. Brought to you from the people behind the equally adorbs Pug Café, there’s a dedicated menu for your four-legged friends, with pupcakes, dognuts (… maybe think that name through, lads), bark-scotti and pupuccinos. And not only are they inviting the long dogs and their owners, fans are allowed to come too, with buttermilk fried chicken, cakes, coffee and so many pets on the menu. I just can’t deal with how many good boys will be in one spot.
The Daschund Cafe is coming to the Yard & Coop on Sunday 8th July, with tickets costing £6 for dog owners and £10 for dog fans. Bookings go live at 11am on Saturday 9th June.
