The Northern Quarter's favourite fried chicken restaurant have really outdone themselves this time. Already renowned for their massive chicken burgers and eccentric chip creations (their Vegas Fries smother chips in peanut butter, jam and cheese sauce), Yard & Coop have a new monster on the menu.
Standing a foot high, the £18 Massive Cock (MK III) is huge enough to give even the most competitive of competitive eaters a run for their money. Containing a double stacked burger, buttermilk fried chicken breast and thigh, hash browns, IPA onion rings, battered jalapenos, cheese sauce, pickles, tomato, mustard and sriracha mayo, it's a gut-buster of a burger. According to the menu, it is also garnished with another mini chicken burger and comes with fries and sweet potato fries, naturally.
The Massive Cock is just one addition to the restaurant's new menu which launched last month and also includes a kimchi and chicken noodle stack, and a smashed avocado, bacon and maple syrup open sandwich.
