Description
Roadhouse is a hardcore partygoer’s dream; located a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Gardens, this great basement club is home to some of the wildest parties in Manchester. Primarily a live music venue, Roadhouse has housed some of Britain’s best bands over the last 15 years with huge acts like The Verve, Muse, Blink 182, Coldplay and Feeder treading the boards here. In terms of live music, they often have great up-and-coming artists on the bill as well as the occasional big act playing a local show (though tickets get snapped up fast).
The façade of the building looks very industrial, but head down the stairs into the intimate basement location that is Roadhouse and you’ll forget all about that. When the legendary party cranks up, the place goes wild, creating one of the best clubbing atmospheres in Manchester.
The crowd is relatively young and the dress code is non-existent, so if you’re after a swanky club then steer clear. However if you’re looking for a great party with a fun crowd and amazing music then Roadhouse ticks all the necessary boxes. It is also important to know that the opening hours vary based on the event so make sure you find out the time and prices of the night you fancy, then prepare to have a wild night.
