The Ritz nightclub and live event venue just off Oxford Road is the Manchester's oldest nightclub! The Ritz hosts a great variety of live bands as well as regular club nights featuring a combination of commercial club bangers in the main room and old school garage, hip hop and R'n'B in the more chilled out Room 2. A great night out whatever the occasion makes The Ritz one of the top Manchester clubs.
Manchester Academy 1, 2 and 3, plus the Club Academy, are all part of Manchester University's Student Union, and host a huge variety of live music and DJs throughout the year. The calibre of names that the venue has attracted over the years is seriously impressive – and although predominantly a gig venue, the sizeable public bar off the main foyer is pretty decent too. Complete with casual tables, banquettes and pool tables galore – there is something for everyone in this huge Oxford Road club.
