Red Rum is closed for the foreseeable future.
Red Rum, or murder backwards, taken from Stephen King's The Shining, is located in the basement of a hotel in Fallowfield; with beds in corners and bare brick walls it has a cellar-like feel. But don't let it's dark and dank appearance put you off as Red Rum has different nights on most Fridays and Saturdays playing some of the best indie, house and hip hop with a warm and friendly atmosphere. With house doubles just £3 this is mainly a student populated bar and seeing as it's open till late it is the perfect place to end your night.
