Sound Control is one of Oxford Road’s best loved venues, and one of Manchester nightlife's brightest lights. Formerly a music shop, this three storey club space not only has a great ground floor bar area, but also a 500 capacity gig space and a 400 capacity basement club. If you’re a music fan then Sound Control will be the newest love of your life.
With big and small acts playing throughout the week, the live music at Sound Control is the main attraction. With free shows and some bigger ticketed events, you will always be able to find a show to fit your mood or budget. Club nights are strictly over 18 but offer the chance to see some of the UK's biggest DJs on the decks - with big names such as Dillinja and Scratch Perverts having graced the stage.
