Description
The Attic is an intimate venue located above the Thirsty Scholar on New Wakefield Street. When the pub downstairs goes to sleep, at the top of a spiral staircase, The Attic doors open and invite you in for a night of music and mayhem. The Attic is proud to host great nights all year round with great quality music from some of the best local DJ's alongside international artists travelling from around the world. The venue might not be big, but the huge sounds coming from the speakers make up for it, and it is home to some of the best Trance and Drum and Bass nights thrown by Manchester's underground promotors.
The atmosphere is friendly and intimate and the crowd is often heavily music driven. Drinks are reasonably priced and The Thirsty Scholar below makes a great place for pre-drinks before heading upstairs. There is usually a fee to gain entry depending on the event being held so keep posted with DesignMyNight to see what's cracking at The Attic.
