In the heart of The Depot, Mayfield you'll find Freight Island, the vibrant event space that promises great quality food and drinks. You'll find a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces here, made up of 11 vendors and five different bars - including a taproom, sports bar, and two others that specialise in tequila cocktails and craft beer.
They host a regular lineup of events and entertainment here, ranging from live DJ sets to sport screenings, quizzes and boozy brunches. Plus, every Christmas it transforms into the magical Winter Island.
There are so many different cuisines on offer here, such as juicy US-style burgers, Indian street food and authentic Mexican eats, to name just a few. Whether you're taking these away or dining in their spacious seating area, there's plenty to be enjoyed, from big names like Burgerism or Voodoo Ray's as well as lesser-known kitchens.
