Bringing late night ramen and cocktails to the Northern Quarter, this bar and restaurant on Oldham Street wears its wares on its sleeve. Offering up unique cocktails, delicious bowls of ramen and tasty bao buns, this no-frills eatery is keeping things to the point.
The brainchild of local duo Ben Gretton and Tom De Santis, CBRB takes its food very seriously, with its ramen, buns and Asian small plates boasting a stunning selection of options, fillings and ingredients, from crab tonkotsu and karaage, to pork charsu and seitan skewers. As for their cocktails, there's nothing classic about this selection of concoctions. Having enlisted the help of local cocktail curator Emma Roberts of drinks event collective Into The Gathering Dusk, CBRB's menu of light sips and signature tipples feature an eclectic mix of ingredients such as aromatised wine, nettle and white pepper syrup and their own-brand Aperol - the aptly named 'Hipsterol'.
