How's this for a quintessentially dapper image? David Beckham striding about in the Scottish Highlands whilst wearing a velvet dinner jacket, proffering a cut glass tumbler of finest whisky. If the advert for David Beckham's partnership with whisky brand Haig Club is any reflection on the pop-up taking place in Spinningfields this month, it'll be the most debonair joint since Gatsby's day.
Obviously deciding that his public image wasn't quite manly and enticing enough, Becks has teamed up with music mogul Simon Fuller and drinks brand Diageo to promote Haig. The pop-up, which is named The Reserve Bar and situated next to the Spinningfield's ice rink, will be the very last word in suave sophistication; clad in Ron Burgundy's favourite wood, mahogany, and picked out with rich blue features.
Because we all need something to keep us warm at night, and Posh Spice staked her claim a while ago, The Reserve Bar is the next best thing. Go feel the festive spirit!
Haig's whisky pop-up opens October 31st and stays open for 10 weeks.
