Baltic Cellar

Description

Damn, those Baltic countries REALLY know how to feast. Ain't no one got that same way with stew. Baltic Cellar brings comforting Baltic fare to the rumbling bellies of Manchester. Let the feasting commence.

Everyone knows that the best way to gorge is plopped down on a leather bench in a rustic, warmly lit cellar space. This place really is a homage to wood. It's wood, wood and more wood from floor to ceiling. But hey! Unless someone does something flammable, that's just peachy. Little homely Baltic touches are scattered around: Copper pans dangle from the ceiling and autumnal toned flowers peek out from teeny barrels. Everything about Baltic Cellar is warm and inviting. It smiles and beckons you in - "come....eat!".

Henry VIII ain't got nothing on you! The set menu for £22 is choc-a-bloc with meat and veg classics; like marinated chicken stuffed with forest mushrooms, smoked bacon and mash. Haven't you heard? Broilin' is BACK! So's picklin' and smokin'. Those lesser known cooking techniques are taking centre stage...and wow are they good! Fill your boots.
