Description
The Creameries delivers freshly prepared produce to Chorlton.
Brought to you by chef Mary-Ellen McTague – sous chef at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck and Head Chef at the Aumbry – after a successful crowdfunding campaign, te restaurant is housed within a former Edwardian dairy. As a family-focussed eatery, there’s a dedicated kids area with books, arts and crafts, whilst an events programme boasts regular wine tastings, cookery classes and more.
The mission statement is all about ethically-sourced food. Alongside bread, they server British and Irish cheese, home-churned butter and fresh curds. The space is designed to encourage interaction between the kitchen and customers, with a salad wall where greens are plucked and an open bakery, where guests can watch their meal being prepared. The lunch and supper menus are about locally-grown vegetables and eco-friendly seafood, meat and fish.
