A staple of Nikkei cuisine in the capital, Chotto Matte's first UK restaurant outside London couldn't have picked a better location than Manchester - and on a rooftop, no less. Taking the highest spot in Gary Neville's much-anticipated St Michael's development, it's set to keep you fed and watered with views of the historic Town Hall from its 20,000 square foot perch. Inside, you can expect their signature open sushi counters, robata grills and grafitti-inspired art, alongside a gorgeous terrace to match. 

With a Japanese-Peruvian menu fronting the likes of pollo picante, salmon tataki tartare and lychee ceviche, this swish spot is filling you up on innovative fusion fare. To wash it down? Think sipping on an Inca Manhattan or classic pisco sour.
