Description
Over in Deansgate, Rendition is a swanky restaurant and bar from the creators of London’s VIP club, Chinawhite, and its sister site in Manchester. Following a similar vein, this venue is cool and sophisticated, boasting a speakeasy-style aesthetic, with moody lighting and luxe seating.
Expect a fine-dining menu curated by Arthur Potts Dawson, ex-River Café chef. Dishes change weekly, in accordance with what fresh produce is readily available, although they champion premium British fare to a tee. Expect the likes of chalk stream trout complemented with samphire and parsley rout puree, and beef accompanied by ox tongue and bone marrow sauce. When it comes to drinks, enjoy creative sips, including the illegal margarita, which sees Illegal Joven mezcal and Mandarine Napoleon bouncing off agave and lemon.
