A destination for beef and ocean-orientated baps alike, Burger and Lobster look set to open their first restaurant in Manchester's Ship Canal House on King Street. Boasting a bold dose of, as the name suggests, burgers and lobsters alike, Burger and Lobster will replicate the contemporary cool of its London counterparts, serving themed cocktails and craft beer alongside.
What we say:
We're here to keep an eye on some of the finest new liquid lairs in the city, but what with all these restaurants popping uo on the scene, who's to ignore the dawn of deliciousness taking to the city? While Hawksmoor look set to cover steaks, and Bird and Beast will have chicken under wraps, it looks like Burger and Lobster are set to compete in another field. With their London venues already notably strong, Manchester could really benefit from shellfish being made, dare we say it, cool.
