1 review - Restaurant Bar
Description
V Rev aims to bring all the very best aspects from an American diner, from burgers to chicken wings, in a 100% vegan way to Edge Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
The original Oldham Street premises acted as a record shop and vegan grocery store before eventually finding its true calling as a vegan restaurant, and this is still reflected in the interior of its newer premises. On one side, framed vinyl sleeves cover the black walls while hanging lanterns prevent the tables from becoming dingy, and flashy neon signs add to the sense of fun.
The menu is populated with playful alternatives to American classics, such as buffalo fried chkn, mac'n'cheez and toona mayo and cheez grill, all made with meat alternatives. No diner is complete without a comprehensive list of burgers and V Revolution lives up to its reputation with hand-made patties of seitan and soy, or deep fried 'buttermilk' seitan that provides a tasty alternative to beef. For some sweet treats, the Tender Vegan Bakery will be providing everything from baked cheezcakes to ice creem sundaes. Meanwhile, you can keep yourself refreshed with some original cocktails, craft beers or a huge vegan milkshake menu.
