Taking over Folk & Soul’s former spot on Thomas Street, Wilderness Bar + Kitchen is an all-new venture from former directors of Cottonopolis, Junkyard Golf and Trof.

Opening mid-June, Wilderness promises a kitchen staff of Manchester’s best young food and drink talent. In terms of design, it will tie in with the look of its Withington sister site. The record shop currently includes a cafe serving fresh baked goods and toasties with a range of alcoholic beverages. While little is known about Wilderness Bar + Kitchen at the moment, it has been confirmed that an expansion to the record store has been planned, doubling its size and launching an events programme of acoustic sets, Q&As with artists, film screenings, workshops and more.
