When it comes to Indian food in Manchester, you can always count on Mowgli. Now, the street food purveyors have spread their wings to University Green for their second venture; in prime position for hungry students and locals alike. With decor selected by founder Nisha Katona, you can expect twinkling lights, decadent furnishings and even a living tree.
The menu leans towards the same signature dishes that have made Mowgli such a hit. Think Goan fish curry, vegan holy chow and the staple sticky wings. The brunch offering is just as packed full of flavour, with an Indian full English sitting alongside the Smoke Back Mountain sandwich. Thirsty? There's mango mimosas, turmeric sours and Kerelan southsides for that.
