Description
Fable is bringing Japanese cuisine and East Asian mythology to Manchester Hall in Spinningfields.
Coming from the founder of Panacea – the famous bar known for hosting celebrities – Fable digs into the deep lore of Asian fairy tales to create a unique space within Manchester’s historic, Grade II-listed Freemason’s Hall. The lavish interior is bold, featuring two giant dragon sculptures hanging from the ceiling and a DJ booth shaped like a hand holding a fish, among gentler touches like Asian vases and Chinese tiling. However, the bold decorative features work with the more traditional elements of the hall, preserving features such as the walnut doors and panels.
The restaurant serves up a menu focused mainly on Japanese cuisine, with flourishes of pan-Asian influences within the dishes.
