Description
Serving homemade pizza, pasta and salad in a modern and open-plan dining area.
When walking into the Italian restaurant, you are given a chip card, which you use to charge all your drinks and food on. Vapiano has an open-show kitchen, which gives you the chance to see the chefs cooking in front of you and to customise your meal (which is also perfect for intolerances and dietary preferences). All of the 11 pasta shapes (including 2 spelt ones) are freshly prepared in the restaurant, every single morning. Nothing is pre-made, same as the pizza doughs, dressing, sauces, dolci and more. Each of the tables also has an individual herb garden for guests to pick their own garnishes.
This is a great space in the historic Corn Exchange, very close to Victoria station, offers great space for big groups or families. The Manchester branch is split over two floors, lifts are available to access the upper.
There are more than 200 Vapianos in 35 countries and over 5 continents. Once finished you simply give the card back and pay on the way out.
