Description
Located in the heart of the city, ABQ is one of the best immersive experiences in Newcastle. It’s a quirky themed bar which sees you dressing up in a hazmat suit, popping into an RV then “cooking up” theatrical cocktails and, of course, drinking them.
Inside, there are long desks topped with chemistry apparatus, barrels as chairs and graffiti on the walls. Over two hours, you’ll get a delicious welcome cocktail then create two molecular drinks using vials, syringes and test tubes. The result? Fun, theatrical mixes that bubble, smoke and change colour as you sip them.
