Victoria Comet

One for film buffs and fans of British cinema, the Victoria Comet had a starring role alongside Michael Caine in the classic gangster movie Get Carter – it’s the pub that his character visits when first arriving in Newcastle and where he orders a drink in a “thin glass”.
